Can you tell me more about CUA Life Rich Rewards?

CUA Life Rich Rewards is the rewards program for CUA Platinum Credit Card holders.

Every time you make a purchase using your CUA Platinum Credit Card, you'll be earning rewards points which you can redeem for a wide range of lifestyle rewards including travel, gift cards and shopping vouchers, and other merchandise listed on the CUA Life Rich Rewards website. Refer to FAQ, "Which transactions will I earn rewards points" for information on which purchases will earn you rewards points.

How can I earn and redeem rewards points?

You'll earn rewards points as soon as you start using your CUA Platinum Credit Card for purchases. Refer to FAQ, "Which transactions will I earn rewards points" for information on which purchases will earn you rewards points.

You can redeem your rewards points online by registering for CUA Life Rich Rewards, or by calling the CUA Life Rich Rewards Centre on 1300 369 036.

How can I register for a CUA Life Rich Rewards Account?

All CUA Platinum Credit Card holders are eligible to register. Just follow this link to register now and you'll be on your way to browsing the rewards available.

How can I check my CUA Life Rich Rewards points balance?

Keeping up to date on your account and points balance is easy. Just log in to your CUA Life Rich Rewards account either directly or through CUA Online Banking.

Your points balance will displayed on all pages or click on the View Statement Page to view:

  • The number of rewards points earned on transactions at the applicable rate per dollar spent
  • Bonus partner transactions and bonus points earned
  • Total number of rewards points available for redemption
  • Any redemptions claimed up to the selected date.

Or, keep an eye out for your monthly CUA Credit Card statement.

How long are my points valid for?

Good news. Your Life Rich Rewards points will not expire as long as you remain a CUA Platinum Credit Card holder. If your CUA Platinum Credit Card account is closed, your points will expire as at the date of closure. In some circumstances at our discretion, you may not be entitled to use your points or to claim rewards. For details, refer to the 'CUA Platinum Credit Card – Terms & Conditions for Other Benefits'.

Which transactions will I earn points on?

Points relating to the use of your CUA Platinum Credit Card will be awarded for credit purchases only and in accordance with the "CUA Platinum Credit Card – Terms & Conditions for Other Benefits".

Transactions defined as cash advances or balance transfers will be excluded from earning Points, and these may include:

  • payments to merchants using third party arrangements
  • transfers of funds from one account to another
  • transfers to or from stored value cards and other credit cards
  • purchase of travellers’ cheques or money orders or gambling transactions
  • interest, bank charges, balance transfers and other Government charges.

CUA may (at its own discretion) award rewards points for any of the above transactions from time to time.

How do I use Points plus Pay?

If you don't have enough points or you’d prefer to hold on to some of your Rewards points, you can use a combination of points and cash to redeem your reward.

To use Points plus Pay, simply select your reward and click "Use Points plus Pay". You can change the mix of CUA Life Rich Rewards points and cash to your liking.

I need help activating my rewards account.

If you try to activate your CUA Life Rich Rewards account and the system doesn't recognise your details, it may mean that your account details have not yet been uploaded. If you've recently received your card, it can take up to five business days for your account details to be available in our system. Please try logging in again after this time.

If you've had your card for more than five business days and you’re experiencing difficulties activating your account, please call the CUA Life Rich Rewards Centre on 1300 369 036.

Can I change my password?

Yes. Just log in to your CUA Life Rich Rewards account using your existing password. Select the "My Details" tab and click on "Change Password".

What do I do if I have forgotten my password for the CUA Life Rich Rewards account?

If you've forgotten your password for your CUA Life Rich Rewards account, we'll generate a temporary password for you to use. Simply go to the Home Page and click on “Forgot password”. Alternatively, just call the CUA Life Rich Rewards Centre on 1300 369 036 between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday Australia-wide, and we'll get you back into your account in no time.

Can I change the delivery address on my redemption?

Yes. You can change the address for delivery of your reward redemption when you place your order. Either enter the new address online or it can be updated by the consultant if you’re ordering over the phone.

Merchandise cannot be delivered to an overseas address.

What is an auto-redemption and how can I set one up?

With CUA Life Rich Rewards, you can pre-select gift card rewards. We'll automatically arrange for the reward to be sent to you, provided you meet the rewards criteria. You can set up an auto-redemption online via your CUA Life Rich Rewards account or by calling the CUA Life Rich Rewards Centre on 1300 369 036.
